Freedom All The Way

Ban kay rahega Pakistan,
Bat k rahyga Hindustan.

It may be just another enthusiastic slogan but the struggles, hard work and sacrifices that followed it are worth remembering.
August 14, 1947 the day of Independence. A day of sacrifices. A day when millions of people crossed the border. Among which there were people who survived the brutal torture and also the ones who came in pieces. Leaving their families to lament.
But all the sacrifices brought the greatest gift to us. Freedom.
Friends, Freedom is not only confined to roaming around on the roads, waving the national flag or playing national songs. It is much, much more than that.
Its about remembering the sufferings of our forefathers and sacrifices of all those who fought for a free state but never lived in one. The people who never stepped on this land. The people who never saw the mountains, the rivers of the country they fought for. Who never experienced the beauty of freedom.
Yes, we are blessed. Blessed, for we are living in a free state. Despite all the problems that we are facing it is still OUR COUNTRY. OUR PAKISTAN !
We OWN it.
So, you think flying abroad is a solution ? Well, its not. Wanting to settle abroad is a disrespect to freedom. You go and work for people who never respected you. Who treated you like shit. The people from whom your forefathers won freedom. You go back and offer yourself as a slave. Fair enough, eh ?
Sorrows lessen when shared.
Would you like it if the people close to you leave you at a time when you need them the most ? No ?
Then how can we even think to leave this country in the hands of corrupt people with filthy intentions ?
This is the time to get united. United for a cause. To work for a revolution not only by marches but a revolution in the way we think.
We must unite in this difficult time because no matter what happens this is our country. THIS IS OUR PAKISTAN !

Moujh barhy ya aandhi aae,
diya jalae rakhna hai,
Ghar ki khatir so dukh jhelain,
Ghar tou aakhir apna hai !

Pakistan Paindabad !
